Shipping Season The shipping season begins in early to mid-May and continues through September. We do not ship plants until they have come out of dormancy. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure that plants will not be sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If there is a specific time period you do not want to receive your plants, let us know. We will try to accommodate your schedule. Due to the variability in Wisconsin's weather from year to year, Kinnickinnic Natives reserves the right to hold orders until plants are ready for shipment and weather conditions are favorable for shipment.
Delivery All plants and products are guaranteed to be in good growing condition when they leave our door. We only ship orders to states located in the UPS Zone 1 and 2, which includes: WI, MN, IA, IL, IN, MI, ND, and SD. All orders are shipped UPS Ground delivery. As we specialize in local eco-type native perennials, we prefer to sell our products locally. All shipments, whether shipped by us or picked up by the customer, travel at the risk and cost of the purchaser. We are not responsible for damage after delivery to UPS. All claims for damages must be reported to UPS immediately to file a proper claim.
Pickups Kinnickinnic Natives is open weekends during the season. For alternate pickup times, please arrange in advance.
Guaranty Kinnickinnic Natives does it best to produce healthy, viable plants for all our customers. In spite of the extreme care we give them, numerous conditions over which we have not control often govern results that customers may have with plants. Weather, watering, planting site, proper planting, soil conditions, soil related root diseases, animal damage, injury, and improper handling of plants are all possible conditions. Because of these conditions of which we exercise no control, it is impossible to guarantee planting results and continued growth of plants.
